Sustainability Analyst (Garment)

Position Summary

The sustainability analyst position is primarily responsible for assisting with data management and reporting of preferred materials. The analyst would gain exposure to sustainable materials and processes while assisting in maintaining the seasonable reports and compliance with requirements. This position would work cross-functionally with the TCP sourcing teams in US and Hong Kong.

Key Accountabilities:

1.Assist with data collection and reporting related to materials and trims. Including fabric (all types + Better Cotton), trims, packaging

• Maintain seasonal material collection log
• Upload vendor data collection to files, log in reports
• Prepare seasonal data summaries
• Collaborate with fabric team, sourcing and vendors to ensure data is submitted accurately and on time

2.Assist with certified material tracking and reporting

• Including recycled, organic, branded cellulosic fibers
• Manage certification library
• Communicate with fabric team, sourcing team and vendors to ensure up to date scope certificates
• Create seasonal certified material tracking log
• Upload transaction certificates to shared folders, log in tracker

3.Audit TCP and third-party websites for accuracy in sustainability badges/product copy; report issues to team

4.Assist with seasonal sustainability attribute tagging

• Check sourcing reports for accurate tagging
• Ensure tags are properly updated into PIM

Education and Experience:

• Tertiary educational qualification in Textile, Clothing, or relevant discipline
• Familiar with mill or factory operations
• Experience in certified/sustainable materials, Better Cotton and/or Oeko-Tex
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables/Filters/X-lookup)
• Great command of both verbal and written English
• Possess a strong attention to detail and time management
• Ability to collaborate and work well within a team
