PURPOSE:
This role involves collecting and analyzing Sustainability data, like GHG emissions, social performance & governance practices and producing regular reports for stakeholders.
To engage with various stakeholders to understand their sustainability concerns, oversee efforts to reduce environmental impact, and identify Sustainability-related risks and opportunities while developing approaches to address them. Educate employees on sustainability goals and foster a culture of responsible business practices. Monitoring progress and adapting strategies as needed are key tasks.
Prepare ESG/Sustainability reports for regulatory filings and stay updated on emerging Sustainability trends and technologies to drive innovation within the organization.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Collect and analyze data related to Sustainability metrics, such as GHG emissions, social performance, and governance practices. Prepare regular reports and disclosures for internal and external stakeholders, including investors, regulators, and the public.

Engage with stakeholders, including employees, customers, investors, legal / regulatory authorities, and community members, to understand their concerns and expectations regarding Sustainability matters.

Oversee initiatives to reduce the organization's environmental footprint, including energy efficiency, waste reduction, and sustainable sourcing of material etc.

Identify, segregate and assess Sustainability-related impacts, risks and opportunities raised from Divisions and maintain log(s).

Provide support to educate internal stakeholders about sustainability goals and initiatives. Promote a culture of sustainable and responsible business practices.

Monitor progress toward sustainability goals and identify areas for improvement. Adapt and align with the ESG/Sustainability strategy as needed.

Reporting and Disclosure: Prepare and submit ESG/Sustainability reports for regulatory filings, sustainability indices, and investor inquiries.

Stay informed about emerging Sustainability trends, technologies, and best practices to drive innovation within the organization.

Visit project sites and offices as required to conduct meetings and maintain sustainability data for each Division / BU as per point 1&4.

Use and manage UNGC, Sustainability (Ecovadis, B-Lab) and customers portals.

Provide support to arrange events for key Sustainability days WED, Biodiversity day, etc.
QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

Masters / bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies / Environment Engineering only.

Should possess 3~4 Years of relevant experience in relevant business.

Lead Auditor Environment Management System (EMS) or related Awareness training.

Good knowledge of ESG / Sustainability Standards, Reporting structures and market scenarios.

Know how in International Standards, Auditing Skills, external certification bodies standard practices and Documentation System Development Skills.

Good analytical & problem-solving skills, decision making, conflict resolution, people and Time Management skills.
