Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Maritime Studies, or a related field
• 6-8 years of experience in sustainability management, ESG reporting, and carbon management
• Technical knowledge of Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Inventory (Scope 1, 2, 3) calculation and verification processes
• Advanced knowledge of IMO and EU maritime & decarbonization regulations
• Proficiency in CSRD, ESRS, GRI, SASB, and TCFD reporting standards
• Experience with carbon markets (EU ETS), offsetting, and book & claim mechanisms
• Hands-on experience managing ESG rating platforms (CDP, EcoVadis, etc.)
• Strong understanding of alternative fuels (LNG, Methanol, Ammonia, Hydrogen) and green energy projects with a forward-looking mindset
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to build cross-functional collaboration
• Strong team player with effective collaboration and coordination skills
• Advanced analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with multiple stakeholders
• Responsible, result-oriented, and detail-focused
• Proactive and adaptable to change

Job Description
• Contribute to the development of the company’s sustainability strategies and ensure alignment with overall business strategy
• Develop and follow up on decarbonization roadmaps and action plans in line with Net Zero targets
• Ensure full compliance with EU ETS requirements and prepare regular carbon market reports
• Monitor IMO and EU decarbonization regulations and manage end-to-end compliance processes
• Ensure accurate monitoring and verification of emissions data in coordination with relevant teams
• Manage carbon offsetting and emissions trading processes with a cost-efficiency perspective
• Lead CSRD and ESRS reporting processes and prepare the annual sustainability report in line with international standards (GRI, SASB, TCFD)
• Coordinate ESG disclosures and rating processes (CDP, EcoVadis, etc.)
• Collaborate with technical teams on energy efficiency and alternative fuel projects
• Manage sectoral collaborations such as green ports and green corridors
• Identify and manage EU and national funding/grant opportunities and application processes
• Evaluate supply chain sustainability and develop improvement initiatives
• Drive internal awareness and collaboration across operations, finance, legal, and IT teams
