SVP, Treasury Management Sales Officer

SUMMARY:

The Treasury Management Sales Officer is responsible for actively selling and/or promoting treasury to existing and prospective clients. This role will develop customized solutions by utilizing a range of products while partnering with bankers to identify potential treasury and deposit opportunities. In addition, this position will support the growth of our Merchant Services Portfolio, expand customer relationships with exiting customers and internal partners, and deliver comprehensive proposals developed to impact client decisions using process knowledge, product, and pricing.

JOB DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Actively sell and promote Treasury Management and Merchant Services solutions to existing and prospective clients.
  • Develop customized solutions and deliver comprehensive proposals using product knowledge, pricing, and process expertise to influence client decisions.
  • Promote a collaborative work environment across all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Establish a balance between customer needs and the bank’s profitability margins.
  • Provides professional advice on Treasury Management and merchant services.
  • Facilitate onboarding for complex clients, industries, and partners.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with assigned customer account personnel.
  • Collaborates with internal personnel to identify prospective clients or segments.
  • Ensure that pricing presented to clients or internal sales stakeholders represents profitable, viable business to the bank, while also directly meeting client’s needs
  • Provide technical product consulting for all facets of business.
  • Assist in qualifying prospects and supporting onboarding processes.
  • Create and deliver presentations that educate clients on Treasury Management products and services.
  • Ensure that all duties are performed accurately according to all laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned to support organizational objectives and operational efficiency.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Air-conditioned office environment.
  • Consistent and timely attendance is required to ensure uninterrupted operational efficiency and exemplary service delivery.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Sit for extended periods of time.
  • Walk, stand, bend, squat, twist, and reach.
  • Extended keyboarding.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Highschool diploma or equivalent.
  • 10+ years banking experience required.
  • 5+ years of customer service experience required.
  • 7+ years of Treasury Management experience required, preferred experience in both Sales and Operations
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of all Treasury Management products and services.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge and understanding of Treasury Management legal documentation.
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office products and keyboarding skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities, with a track record of effectively managing teams and fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet deadlines with strong time management abilities.
  • Experience with project management and project management tools / practices
  • Self-starter works with minimal direction.
  • Demonstrates dependability through good attendance and adherence to timelines and schedules.
  • Willingness to accept additional responsibilities.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred and an advanced degree is a plus.
  • Technical expertise is preferred.
