The Office Building Sweeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene throughout the office premises. This includes cleaning floors, hallways, common areas, and restrooms to ensure a safe, neat, and pleasant work environment for all employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sweep, mop, and vacuum office floors, hallways, and staircases.
  • Empty trash bins and ensure waste is properly disposed of.
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenishing supplies such as soap, tissue, and hand towels.
  • Dust and wipe desks, furniture, windows, doors, and other surfaces in common areas.
  • Maintain cleanliness in pantry, lobby, and reception areas.
  • Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns to the supervisor.
  • Ensure cleaning tools and materials are properly used and stored.
  • Follow health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times.
  • Perform other cleaning or maintenance duties as assigned by the building supervisor or manager.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience as a sweeper, janitor, or cleaner in an office or commercial building preferred.
  • Ability to operate basic cleaning equipment (vacuum cleaner, mop, floor polisher, etc.).
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and safety practices.
