Syndicate Claims Manager

About the Role:
This role provides hands on claims expertise within a growing insurance operation. The position focuses on operational delivery, reporting, and stakeholder coordination rather than strategic leadership. It supports internal claims processes and contributes to external market engagement as required.

The role requires syndicate claims experience. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and review assigned claims files, including complex cases
• Coordinate with underwriting and internal teams on coverage, reserving, and settlements
• Support broker and reinsurer communication on claims matters
• Contribute to large loss and CAT claims reporting
• Assist in preparing portfolio reports and performance dashboards
• Ensure claims activities align with internal policies and regulatory requirements

Qualifications and Experience

• Syndicate experience is a must
• ACII or equivalent (desirable, not essential)
• Degree preferred but not mandatory
• 3 years + claims experience in specialty or commercial insurance
• Comfortable working with brokers and internal stakeholders
• Exposure to audits, reporting, and compliance processes is an advantage
