As we continue to scale our operations and expand our infrastructure footprint, we are seeking a skilled IT professional to ensure our core systems remain secure, resilient, and high-performing.

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly competent and proactive System Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize Click Group’s critical IT infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the high availability, security, and performance of our core network, servers, virtualization platforms, and enterprise applications across the group.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience managing hybrid cloud environments, robust backup strategies, and core networking infrastructure, while supporting enterprise-level ERP and CRM systems.

Work Location & Arrangements

  • Job Location: Cairo, Egypt
  • Work Model: On Site
  • Schedule: Full-time, Sunday to Thursday.
  • Note: Due to the nature of core infrastructure management, occasional on-site presence may be required outside of standard working hours for emergency troubleshooting or scheduled system maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Server, Storage, and Virtualization Management

  • Configure, provision, and maintain physical and virtual servers to ensure optimal performance across Click Group's business units.

2. Core Infrastructure & Identity Management

  • Manage and maintain Active Directory (AD), including Group Policy Objects (GPOs), domain controllers, and user access controls.
  • Oversee DHCP, DNS, and network file servers, ensuring secure data access and efficient IP address management.
  • Deploy, test, and manage system patches and software updates across the enterprise using WSUS.

3. Messaging, Collaboration & Cloud Services

  • Administer and support corporate email environments, including hybrid Exchange server configurations and Microsoft 365 suites for Click Group employees.
  • Manage M365 user licensing, security compliance, SharePoint, and Teams administration.

4. Network & Security Administration

  • Configure and maintain Core Layer switches and overall network routing/switching architecture to ensure high-speed, reliable connectivity.
  • Manage network security, VPNs, and policy configurations using FortiGate Firewalls to protect corporate data assets.
  • Monitor network traffic and system logs to proactively identify and mitigate security threats.

5. Backup, Business Continuity & Applications

  • Design, implement, and test robust backup and disaster recovery plans utilizing Veeam Backup & Replication to guarantee business continuity.
  • Provide infrastructure-level support and ensure maximum uptime for core business systems, including corporate ERP and CRM platforms.

Technical Skills & QualificationsRequired Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Experience: 3–5+ years of experience as a System/Network Administrator in an enterprise or multi-company environment.

Technical Stack Proficiencies:

  • Virtualization: Deep knowledge of VMware vSphere (ESXi, vCenter) and Microsoft Hyper-V.
  • Directory Services: Strong expertise in Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and GPO management.
  • Storage: Proven experience configuring and troubleshooting SAN/NAS storage arrays.
  • Cloud & Mail: Advanced administration of Microsoft 365 and Exchange Server.
  • Networking/Security: Solid understanding of Core Layer networking and hands-on experience with FortiGate Firewalls.
  • Data Protection: Proficiency in managing enterprise backups via Veeam.
  • Patching: Experience managing enterprise-wide updates via WSUS.
  • Business Tools: Familiarity with hosting, maintaining, or supporting corporate ERP and CRM environments.

Preferred Certifications:

  • VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
  • Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate or Enterprise Administrator Expert
  • Fortinet NSE 4 (FortiGate Security)
  • Veeam Certified Engineer (VMCE)
  • Manage enterprise storage solutions, including SAN and NAS architectures, ensuring proper capacity planning, performance tuning, and data redundancy.
  • Administer dual-hypervisor environments using VMware ESXi / vCenter and Microsoft Hyper-V for provisioning, clustering, and resource allocation.

Pay: E£1.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Cairo: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
