System Administrator Tier II Support

Job Title: System Administrator Tier II Support

Security Clearance: Secret

Location: Camp Arifjan, Kuwait

(Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.)

C3EL is seeking a System Administrator Tier II Support to join our team in Kuwait. In this role, you'll provide advanced administration, troubleshooting, and support for enterprise-level systems and networks. You'll ensure the stability, security, and performance of critical infrastructure by applying updates, monitoring server health, and leveraging enterprise management tools. As a key member of our technical team, you'll help maintain seamless operations while ensuring compliance with DoD standards and security requirements.

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Provide Tier II system administration support, including troubleshooting escalated issues from Tier I.
• Monitor system health, performance, and availability, ensuring mission-critical systems remain operational.
• Implement security patches, configuration changes, and updates to maintain compliance with DoD standards.
• Manage Active Directory accounts, permissions, and group policies.
• Perform routine server backups, disaster recovery procedures, and system restores when required.
• Support the configuration and deployment of servers, storage systems, and enterprise applications.
• Maintain and enforce best practices across systems and networks.
• Collaborate with network, security, and help desk teams to resolve complex technical issues.
• Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge continuity.

• An active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Must have one (1) of the following required certifications: Security+ CE, CCNA, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, or SSCP.
• Must have knowledge and familiarity with reviewing and deploying vendor updates for security patches.
• Must have knowledge with storage technologies such as Storage Area Network (SAN) or Network Attached Storage (NAS).
• Must have knowledge with server performance tuning and monitoring tools.
• Must have knowledge with server configuration and management tools (Microsoft System Center Operations manager (SCOM) and System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)).
  
• Must have network troubleshooting skills and knowledge of networks.
• Must have technical documentation skills.
