Job Description
- Desktop Support and System Administration:
- Provide technical support to end-users regarding hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop operating systems, applications, and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to workflow.
- Conduct system updates, patches, and maintenance tasks on desktops and laptops.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in line with security policies.
Asset Auditing:
- Maintain an accurate inventory of all IT assets, including desktops, laptops, peripherals, and software licenses.
- Conduct regular audits to reconcile physical assets with records in the asset management system.
- Identify discrepancies, track missing or surplus assets, and take corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to ensure accurate asset records and compliance with budgetary guidelines.
- Implement and enforce asset management procedures to maintain data accuracy and security.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Create and update documentation related to desktop configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and asset inventory.
- Generate regular reports on asset status, inventory accuracy, and compliance metrics for review by management.
- Provide recommendations for improving asset management processes and enhancing system efficiency.
Collaboration and User Training:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT-related projects and initiatives.
- Assist in user training sessions or create materials to educate employees on asset management best practices.
- Work closely with the IT team to ensure seamless integration of desktop support and asset management activities.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of desktop operating systems (e.g., Windows, macOS) and productivity software.
- Familiarity with IT asset management tools/software.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills for accurate asset auditing.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with end-users.
- Willing to Travel all the Pan India Branches
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹250,000.00 - ₹350,000.00 per year
