System/Network Administrator

• Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure minimal downtime.
• Manage user access controls and permissions to maintain network security.
• Implement and maintain network security protocols, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
• Perform regular network backups and disaster recovery operations.
• Collaborate with IT staff to support infrastructure upgrades and system improvements.
• Maintain documentation of network configurations, changes, and procedures.
• Provide technical support and training to staff regarding network use and security.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
• Proven experience as a Network Administrator or similar role.
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs).
• Experience with network security practices and tools.
• Familiarity with network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert) are a plus.
