Responsibilities:
  • Provide at the elbow support to your perioperative nursing colleagues, anesthesia providers and support staff as you remove technology barriers and help keep everyone focused on the care of the patient.
  • Make your mark by working with your colleagues and perioperative leadership to continuously improve the quality of nursing documentation across all phases of the perioperative continuum of care.
  • Master your Epic report development, interpretation and analysis skills as you work with your nursing colleagues to advance nursing EBP & Research across the Perioperative Division.
  • Dig into the data that is at the core of clinical and business decision-making.
  • Develop your expertise in using, one-to-one teaching and troubleshooting issues with Optime/Epic
  • Advocate for perioperative & perianesthesia nursing needs through your work on the Optime Super Users Group and other committee, groups and teams.
  • Hone your project management skills by taking on projects that are key to the success of the perioperative division.
Qualifications:
Education and Work Experience:
  • Must possess a high school diploma or GED
  • BS degree preferred
  • 1-2 years of IT technology
Requirements for this position include:
  • 2 years of Analyst experience required
  • A Registered Nurse experienced in perioperative services is strongly preferred
  • Licensure in Maryland as an RN, or eligible for licensure in Maryland, or a compact state
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing is necessary
  • At least two years of computer proficiency and technical aptitude in various IT platforms
  • Performance in a leadership role in a specialty is strongly preferred
Min: USD $47.71/Hr. Max: USD $85.88/Hr. Benefits:
