The WCPL Systems Team Leader supervises a small team of systems administrators in developing, implementing, and supporting network/cloud services, infrastructure, our intranet, integrated library systems, firewalls, email, hard/software, comms, and tech projects.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent degree, or four-plus years related experience substitute for degree.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in an Information Technology field.
  • Minimum of two years of project management and staff supervisory experience with directly-reporting staff.
  • Excellent MS Office software skills.
  • Self motivated, organized, efficient, and productive with excellent time management skills.
  • Multi-tasking- handle multiple projects with competing deadlines.
  • Collaborative, hands-on style with exceptional follow through.
  • Ability to research and apply new technology.
  • Analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and written/verbal skills, including the ability to explain and train "non-technical" individuals in the effective use of all relevant systems.
