Tactical Buyer – Maintenance team

Key Responsibilities:

• Issue Request for Quotations and eRFQs & RFQs to existing suppliers
• Ensure the price maintenance of materials in the procurement workflow.
• Analyse the quotations, execute supplier benchmark in the Siemens Gamesa supplier database – Ariba Spend Mgt.
• Request the price upload in the ERP system
• Download material documentation from SAP
• Support Supplier Management processes for Spare Part Vendors (e.g. qualification, selection, evaluation, development, classification)
• Prepare monthly reporting for procurement KPI reviews
• Collaborate on cross functional projects
• Ad-hoc support to the service procurement team to ensure adherence to monthly KPI

• Bachelor’s in engineering (preferably Mechanical, Automotive and Aerospace)
• Strong skills in ERP systems, particularly SAP, for managing material and purchase orders.
• Strong analytical, leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
• Strong proficiency in procurement and negotiations skills
• A minimum of 3 years of equipment and materials procurement and expediting experience ideally in the Wind Turbine sector
• Knowledge of and ability to operate in enterprise resource planning systems such as SAP & MS Office.
• Proactively communicate and collaborate within Projects organization, functions and Procurement category to maximize commercial outcomes.
• Experience of 2+ years of professional experience within Procurement with fluent English verbal and written communication skills.
