Tailor

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Tailor with expertise in new clothing design and custom tailoring, as well as alterations and repairs for various types of garments. The ideal candidate should be proficient in tailoring men’s suits, abayas, party dresses, and wedding gowns, with a strong eye for detail and excellent craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take accurate body measurements and ensure proper garment fit.
• Design, cut, and sew new garments according to customer specifications and patterns.
• Perform alterations, repairs, and resizing of garments including suits, abayas, dresses, and gowns.
• Handle delicate fabrics and embellishments with care and precision.
• Collaborate with customers to understand their design preferences and style requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tailoring workspace.
• Meet deadlines and ensure high-quality finishing in all tailored garments.
• Advise customers on fabric selection, garment care, and design options.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience as a Tailor, Dressmaker, or Seamstress, preferably in a boutique or fashion house.
• Strong knowledge of garment construction, pattern making, and fabric types.
• Skilled in sewing, cutting, stitching, pressing, and fitting.
• Expertise in tailoring formal wear, abayas, wedding gowns, and party dresses.
• Attention to detail, creativity, and a passion for high-quality tailoring.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple orders efficiently.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Formal training or certification in tailoring, fashion design, or garment construction is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant tailoring experience.

Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
