OVERVIEW: The Talent Acquisition Coordinator at Boca West Country Club supports the recruitment and onboarding processes by coordinating candidate sourcing, interview scheduling, and hiring logistics. This role plays a vital part in attracting top talent, ensuring a smooth candidate experience, and assisting with HR administrative tasks related to staffing needs.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Recruitment & Candidate Sourcing

  • Post job openings on internal and external platforms, including job boards and social media.
  • Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Assist in conducting initial phone screens when needed.

Candidate Experience & Communication

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Provide timely updates and feedback to candidates.
  • Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience.

Applicant Tracking & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate records of candidate applications, interview notes, and hiring status in the applicant tracking system.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies during the hiring process.
  • Prepare offer letters and employment documentation in collaboration with HR management.

Onboarding Support

  • Assist new hires with onboarding paperwork and orientation scheduling.
  • Coordinate background checks, reference checks, and other pre-employment requirements.

HR Support & Administrative Tasks

  • Support HR team with administrative duties related to staffing, including data entry and reporting.
  • Assist with employee engagement initiatives and recruitment campaigns.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position has no direct supervisory responsibility. Provides recruiting process guidance to the People and Culture Representative and coordinates onboarding handoffs with the Learning and Development Manager and People Operations Manager

  • Detail Orientation: Accurately prepares onboarding materials and maintains recruiting records
  • Confidentiality and Professionalism: Maintains discretion with sensitive information

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, and TRAINING:

  • Proven experience in recruitment, HR coordination, or administrative support preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems, MS Office, and social media platforms.
  • Attention to detail and confidentiality.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

Applicant Tracking System (STILL NEEDS TO BE BUILT/IMPLEMENTED), Microsoft Suite, HRIS basics, and online recruiting platforms (Indeed, Handshake, LinkedIn, etc.)
