Our mission is big—building a community of safer swimmers, reducing risks, and helping people feel confident in and around the water. That mission starts with hiring the right people. We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead full-cycle recruiting, candidate sourcing, and hiring coordination across the organization while delivering an exceptional candidate experience in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for recruiting and talent acquisition activities across the organization
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective hiring strategies and recruiting plans
  • Post job openings, source candidates, and manage the recruiting pipeline and applicant flow through the ATS
  • Manage the interview cycle – from initial screening to offer, ensuring every candidate has a smooth and informed experience
  • Build and maintain relationships with community career advisors, schools, and talent partners to support ongoing hiring needs
  • Track recruiting activity, maintain accurate hiring records, and support recruiting metrics and reporting
  • Assist with offer preparation, pre-employment steps, and onboarding coordination
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes, sourcing strategies, and employer branding

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Human Resources, Business, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2–3 years of experience in talent acquisition, recruiting, recruiting coordination, or HR support
  • Experience managing full-cycle recruiting or operating as a primary recruiting resource is a plus
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and candidate sourcing tools
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple roles and priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially with candidate-facing communication
  • Self-motivated with the ability to take ownership and work independently
  • Creative, resourceful, and solutions-oriented
  • Passion for connecting great people with a mission-driven organization
