Talent Acquisition Team Leader

Job Purpose

The Talent Acquisition Team Leader is responsible for enhancing organizational effectiveness by leading and executing resourcing strategies supporting the organization’s objectives also responsible for all aspects of recruiting and plays a critical role in ensuring that we efficiently and effectively fill open positions on time and within budget.

Responsibilities/Duties

  • Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.
  • Ensure implementation of recruiting procedures (e.g., job application and onboarding processes).
  • Keep track of recruiting metrics (e.g., time-to-hire and cost-per-hire) and implement efficiencies to improve on the same.
  • Provide comprehensive reporting analytics for continuous improvement and tracking.
  • Manages and develops the team of Talent Acquisition.
  • Builds quality relationships with internal customers and external recruitment agencies.
  • Serve as brand ambassador at various events like (job fairs and career events).
  • Responsible for all Employer Branding activities.
  • Review, validate and updated Job descriptions and role profiles.
  • Advertise job vacancies through Talent Soft, update applicants’ status and send rejection e-mails Conduct talent sourcing, benchmarking, assessment and interviewing such as CBI.
  • Screen/review online applications evaluating such factors as job experience, education, training, skills, knowledge, ability and develop a short list of potential candidates to forward to the hiring managers.
  • Network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups, social media, and employees.
  • Collect data on cost per hire and time-to-hire and other recruitment metrics to compile monthly recruitment reports as per HR Dashboard.
  • Provide monthly and quarterly reporting of new hires and candidate pipeline.
  • Complete a minimum of two (2) reference checks on selected candidates and complete a background check.
  • Maintain and ensure compliance of all recruitment & recruitment administration policies and procedures.
  • Build talents pool in advance of need by conducting research and recommending new sources for active and passive candidates.
  • Proactively seek market intelligence to gain competitive advantage in attraction methodologies.
  • Coordinate the mass hiring recruitment efforts if needed to support the recruitment of highly skilled employees.
  • Support the assessment design and implementation of candidates who will be transferred to RDMC operation.
  • Attend any other relevant and reasonable tasks as may be required from time to time.
  • Other duties and responsibilities might be assigned.

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

  • BSc in Human Resources Management, Organizational Psychology, or any other relevant field.

Knowledge

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Discretion in dealing with confidential information.

  • Analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of labor legislation.
  • Familiarity with social media and other professional networks.
  • Best practice end to end recruitment cycle.

Experience

  • From 5 to 7 years of progressive experience as a talent acquisition specialist/recruiter, preferably within a corporate multinational environment.
  • Experience with mass hiring for employees in the skilled labor trades.
  • Experience in candidate assessments and testing
  • Experience with (phone and in-person) interviews, candidate screening and evaluation.
  • Experience with HRMS is an added advantage and
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for analysis and reporting purposes.
