Job Description


The Talent Acquisition Specialist provides end-to-end recruitment support within the GBS Talent Acquisition team. This role is responsible for sourcing, screening, and evaluating talent according to the needs of the Hiring Manager. The Specialist maintains candidate relationships by providing timely feedback and status updates to all applicants and works closely with Hiring Managers to fulfil ongoing requirements. This role also provides up-to-date Talent Market information.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage full life-cycle recruitment, including developing search strategies, actively sourcing candidates, pre-screening, interviewing, presenting qualified candidates to hiring managers, negotiating offers, and facilitating the hiring and onboarding process.
  • Ensure implementation of recruitment best practices.
  • Maintain requisitions in our global Applicant Tracking System to ensure data integrity in reporting.
  • Create a positive candidate experience (for both selected and non-selected candidates) throughout the entire recruiting process.
  • Build relationships and communicate consistently and proactively throughout the recruitment process to ensure all participants are updated and well-informed.
  • Use proactive methods to network with industry experts and professional associations to build ongoing passive candidate networks.
  • Responsible for job postings on our corporate career site, external career sites, and LinkedIn.
  • Partner with Hiring Managers to develop, recommend, and execute recruitment strategies to ensure a successful candidate search within identified time frames.
  • Provide external talent market insights.
  • Champion Talent Acquisition activities such as the Employee Referral Program, University Partnerships, and Recruitment Marketing and Branding initiatives.

Qualifications


Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 2 - 4 years of experience in Sourcing and Recruiting within a shared service or related environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field

  • Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively within a team.
  • Proactive in meeting customer needs by responding to queries and escalating complex issues appropriately.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
  • Agile and adaptable, capable of handling workload fluctuations while maintaining high-quality standards.
