In this role, you’ll support and implement talent development initiatives that drive leadership growth, enhance skill building, and strengthen retention and succession planning. You’ll partner closely with leaders and the Talent Development Manager to ensure programs align with organizational priorities, integrate with performance management practices, and deliver measurable impact. This position plays a key role in fostering a culture of continuous learning, accountability, and growth across the organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:-
Supports and implements leadership and talent development programs that enhance capability, retention, and readiness across all levels.
- Partners with the Talent Development Manager to drive succession planning and development programs.
- Administers engagement and recognition programs, analyzes results, and recommends actions to strengthen culture and team member experiences.
- Delivers training, tools, and resources to support leaders and ensure a consistent and engaging experience across the organization.

Implements onboarding programs for new leaders and new team members, ensuring a consistent, engaging, and value-based experience across the organization.

Collaborates with subject matter experts to deliver and sustain learning through a train-the-trainer model.
- Supports the performance management and development process, including goal setting, feedback, and development planning.

Assists with building career development frameworks, identifying relevant competencies and guiding team members and leaders in career pathing discussions.
Qualifications: Education-
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, adult education, or related field preferred

Talent Development/Learning & Development/HR related certifications preferred
Qualifications: Experience-
5+ years’ experience in Human Resources, Learning & Development, and/or Talent Development

2+ years’ project management experience

Demonstrated ability to understand business strategy to design, develop, and implement innovative, value-add solutions that align with business objectives

Experience using adult learning principles, training design, development, and delivery, and training effectiveness measurement techniques
- Ability to coach and develop all levels of leaders, including executive level leaders
- Strong facilitation, presentation, and coaching skills
Qualifications: Individual Contributor Competencies-
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including strong listening skills

Practice operating independently without the need for continuous oversight or direction
- Proven ability to effectively prioritize and balance compelling needs
- A history of taking the initiative to identify and solve work-related problems

Experience in exercising initiative and sound judgment in decision-making

Compensation & BenefitsPay Range: $80k-$90k + DOE + Bonus Opportunity
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Maverik considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers, such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
