Talent Management Coordinator - Torrance (Hybrid)

The Talent Management Coordinator ensures the efficient execution of Talent, Learning & Development (L&D), and Performance Management processes. This role provides administrative, operational, and logistical support to the Talent and L&D teams, contributing to a positive employee experience and supporting organizational growth.
The ideal candidate has a strong client-service mindset and brings exceptional organizational, communication, and administrative skills.
Duties and Responsibilities
Talent Management Support
  • Support the Head of Talent Management in executing key Talent initiatives, including communications, scheduling, materials preparation, and data management.
  • Maintain and update talent profiles, succession plans, 9-box data, and dashboards; ensure accuracy and data integrity.
  • Assist in coordinating performance management cycles, including system administration, communications, and tracking completion.
  • Conduct research on industry trends and best practices to support continuous improvement in Talent processes.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior leaders using Talent data and insights.
  • Coordinate logistics for talent review meetings, including materials preparation, follow-up actions, and tracking outcomes.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives, surveys, and action planning processes.
Learning & Development Support
  • Coordinate firmwide, advisory, and business-specific training programs, ensuring seamless execution from planning to delivery.
  • Provide full logistical support: scheduling, communications, pre-work distribution, materials preparation, catering, and technology setup.
  • Act as a main point of contact for presenters, facilitators, external vendors, and learning partners.
  • Maintain L&D SharePoint sites, LMS content, and online learning catalogs.
  • Track attendance, compile evaluation results, and support post-program surveys and reporting.
  • Ensure CLE compliance by maintaining accurate attendance documentation and supporting audit requests.
  • Support in-person workshops and virtual programs, including registration, materials distribution, and day-of delivery tasks.
  • Troubleshoot issues during sessions and escalate technical or logistics challenges appropriately.
  • Assist with the development of learning calendars and help monitor program enrollment and completion trends.
Learning Support & Administration
  • Respond to employee learning inquiries and triage requests to appropriate team members.
  • Generate reports and dashboards on training participation and key metrics.
  • Retrieve and archive historical training materials and session content.
  • Process vendor contracts, invoices, and expense submissions.
  • Assist in creating program materials, presentations, and internal communications.
  • Support content updates and quality checks for recurring training programs.
Talent & Learning Technology Support
  • Maintain and update SharePoint content on the firm’s intranet.
  • Upload recorded programs and maintain structured learning paths in the LMS.
  • Conduct periodic LMS and SharePoint clean-up projects to ensure data accuracy and ease of use.
  • Monitor learning and talent data for anomalies, completeness, and alignment with organizational policies.
  • Document procedures and maintain SOPs for recurring responsibilities.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and recommend process efficiencies.
  • Support HR systems testing and enhancements related to Talent, Performance, or L&D modules.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 2+ years of experience in Talent Management, Learning & Development, HR Operations, or related HR support roles.

  • Experience required in Learning Management System (LMS).

  • Familiarity with Paycom or similar HRIS preferred.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with the ability to create and edit learning materials.

  • Experience with SharePoint and/or intranet content management.

  • Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast paced environment.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on high quality client service.

  • Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable operating with limited direction.

  • Ability to work discreetly with confidential employee and organizational information.
