Tax Accountant

Air & Ocean Services Private Limited is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Tax Accountant to manage and oversee all tax-related matters. The ideal candidate will ensure full compliance with applicable income tax and sales tax regulations while maintaining accurate financial records and supporting timely tax filings.

This role requires a proactive individual with strong analytical skills who can contribute to minimizing tax risks and ensuring adherence to legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and process income tax and sales tax payments
• Handle documentation for tax payments and returns
• File monthly sales tax returns and withholding tax statements
• Manage tax notices and coordinate with tax consultants
• Maintain and update company tax records and databases
• Recommend tax-saving strategies and ensure compliance
• Stay updated with changes in tax laws and regulations
• Liaise with clients and consultants regarding tax matters

Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• ICAP (CAF or equivalent) certification will be preferred

Experience:

• 2–3 years of relevant experience as a Tax Accountant or Tax Analyst

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures
• Proficiency in MS Excel and computer applications
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
