Tax Analyst

Position Summary

The Tax Analyst is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate compliance with indirect tax regulations through the preparation, validation, and filing of statutory tax returns and related reports. The role supports tax compliance, reconciliations, refund processing, and adherence to Nestlé policies and applicable tax laws.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and file monthly sales tax returns and related statutory reports for FBR and Provincial Revenue Authorities.
• Prepare input/output registers, withholding statements, and other indirect tax reports.
• Perform sales tax reconciliations with the General Ledger to ensure accuracy.
• Support sales tax refund claims and respond to tax notices.
• Ensure compliance with tax SOPs, accounting entries, and statutory requirements.
• Monitor changes in indirect tax regulations and support implementation of updates.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and maintain accurate tax documentation.

What Will Make You Successful

• CA/ACCA/CMA or MBA/M.Com with relevant taxation experience.
• 1-3 years of experience in indirect tax compliance, sales tax returns, and refund processing.
• Hands-on experience with FBR and Provincial Revenue Authority portals.
• Strong analytical skills and advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
• Knowledge of SAP and Pakistani indirect tax laws is an advantage.
