Tax Executive (Male)

We are looking for TAX executive for Lahore

Key Responsibilities:

Income Tax & Withholding Tax (WHT)

• Prepare and file monthly and annual Income Tax and Withholding Tax statements.
• Ensure timely deduction, deposit, and reconciliation of all WHT obligations.
• Maintain proper documentation and challans for tax deposits and filings.
• Support management in tax planning to ensure compliance and cost efficiency.

Sales Tax

• Prepare and file monthly Sales Tax returns.
• Reconcile purchase and sales data with GL and ensure accurate input/output tax adjustments.
• Coordinate with suppliers for verification of Sales Tax invoices.
• Handle queries and notices related to sales tax audits.

Tax Audit & Compliance

• Assist in preparation for FBR and PRA audits and respond to tax notices.
• Maintain proper record keeping for all tax-related correspondence.
• Ensure compliance with Income Tax Ordinance.
• Update management on changes in tax laws, SROs, and notifications issued by tax authorities.

Other Responsibilities

• Maintain updated knowledge of FBR, SRB, and PRA systems.
• Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of financial and tax data.
• Contribute to process improvements for better compliance and efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or relevant field (B.Com, M.Com, MBA, or ACCA/CA).

Experience: 2–3 years of relevant experience in taxation within a corporate or manufacturing environment.

Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of FBR laws, IRIS portal, Sales Tax, and Withholding Tax.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, ERP).
