Tax Manager

· Manage all taxation matters across multiple jurisdictions, including UAE, KSA, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, and Kuwait.

· Develop and implement comprehensive tax strategies tailored to the retail industry to optimize tax positions and minimize liabilities while ensuring compliance.

· Lead tax planning initiatives, identifying opportunities for tax reduction and efficiency improvements.

· Oversee sales tax compliance, including taxability assessments, remittance, and reporting.

· Identify, assess, and manage tax risks to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.

· Implement and maintain taxation systems in coordination with relevant teams.

· Ensure timely and accurate filing of federal and local tax returns, including corporate tax, sales tax, and other applicable taxes in UAE and GCC countries.

· Collaborate with the software/IT team to develop and implement efficient tax solutions.

· Train finance and accounting teams on tax procedures, compliance requirements, and reporting.

· Prepare tax compliance solutions for e-commerce and digital marketing operations.

· Execute tax-related decisions in coordination with the Head of Tax.

· Monitor company compliance with GCC tax laws and regulations.

· Develop standardized processes and formats for tax return preparation.

· Stay updated on changes in tax regulations, rates, exemptions, and compliance requirements, adapting strategies accordingly.

· Coordinate with external auditors and tax authorities during audits and inquiries, providing necessary documentation for defense.

· Collaborate with Finance and Accounts Managers on key tax issues, providing detailed financial analysis and recommendations.

· Work closely with other departments to align tax strategies with overall business objectives.

· Maintain comprehensive records of all tax-related activities, transactions, and documentation.

· Perform additional tasks as assigned.
