Overview
We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to lead tax engagements, manage client relationships, and provide technical guidance to staff. This role is ideal for a CPA with extensive public accounting experience who thrives in a collaborative, client-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise tax engagements from planning through completion.
- Review individual, corporate, partnership, and fiduciary tax returns and supporting workpapers.
- Conduct tax research and provide recommendations on complex tax matters.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
- Manage engagement budgets, timelines, and deliverables.
- Communicate regularly with clients regarding tax issues, planning opportunities, and project status.
- Mentor, train, and supervise staff and senior accountants.
- Assist with business development initiatives and client growth opportunities.
- Support consulting projects and other special assignments as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- Active CPA license required.
- 10+ years of public accounting experience with progressive tax responsibilities.
- Strong technical knowledge of federal and state taxation.
- Experience reviewing complex tax returns and managing multiple client engagements.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks, ProSystem fx Tax, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

Pay: $130,000.00 - $165,000.00 per year
