Responsibilities

• Prepare individual, business, and corporate tax returns with precision and attention to detail
• Analyze financial documents and data to ensure accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
• Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or similar tools to organize financial information
• Assist clients with tax planning strategies to optimize their financial outcomes
• Stay current on changes in tax laws and regulations through ongoing education and research
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining tax concepts clearly and answering client inquiries effectively
• Collaborate with colleagues on complex cases involving public accounting standards and technical accounting issues

Experience

• Proven experience in tax preparation, public accounting, or related financial roles
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial concepts, and analysis skills
• Proficiency with accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, and other financial software tools
• Familiarity with bookkeeping practices and 10 key typing skills for data entry accuracy
• Excellent math skills combined with attention to detail for precise calculations
• Prior experience in sales or marketing of financial services is a plus
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining high-quality work standards
