Tax Registration Analyst

  • Review tax registrations and de-registrations for non-complex accounts.
  • Verify the documentations submitted, identify any discrepancies, and request additional supporting documents.
  • Update and adjust taxable person's account and information (ex: bank account details, address, etc.)
  • Proactively get taxable persons to register (as instructed by Tax Compliance and Enforcement).
  • Coordinate with Taxpayer services to answer queries related to tax registrations and de-registrations.
  • Levy the appropriate penalties and surcharges for late registrations as dictated by the tax policy.
  • Register, validate and maintain business entity accounts.
  • Ensure that data integrity confirms to registration requirements and processes.
  • Monitor tax registrations for suspicious behaviour.
  • CFA and/or CPA and/or ACCA and/or CTA and/or ATT and/or CTP certificate
