Taxi Dispatcher

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and proactive Dispatcher to join our taxi call center team. The Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating customer bookings, assigning trips to drivers, and ensuring smooth and timely transportation service. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and strong problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle incoming customer bookings via phone, app, and online platforms.
• Dispatch jobs to available drivers based on location, availability, and service priority.
• Monitor driver locations, trip progress, and traffic conditions to ensure timely pickups.
• Communicate effectively with drivers to provide instructions, updates, and support.
• Manage scheduling conflicts, delays, and emergency situations with professionalism.
• Ensure customer service standards are maintained by resolving complaints or escalating issues when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of bookings, dispatches, and incidents.
• Collaborate with call center agents and management to improve service efficiency.

Requirements

• Previous experience in dispatch, call center, or transportation services preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask, stay calm, and make quick decisions under pressure.
• Basic IT/computer skills (knowledge of dispatch software is a plus).
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: Rs35,000.00 - Rs65,000.00 per month
