Taxi Operator and Dispatcher (UK-Based Night Shift)

About the Role

We are looking for a highly organized, professional, and clear-speaking Taxi Operator and Dispatcher to manage our UK-based operations from our office in Karachi. You will serve as the crucial link between our passengers and drivers, ensuring that every journey is coordinated efficiently, safely, and on time.

This role requires someone who can remain calm under pressure, maintains meticulous records, and provides top-tier customer service to our UK clientele.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispatching & Coordination: Actively monitor booking systems to assign and dispatch taxis to passengers based on location, availability, and specific travel requirements.
• Communication: Handle inbound calls from passengers and outbound calls to drivers. Provide clear instructions, confirm pick-up details, and manage expectations professionally.
• Job Management: Follow up on active jobs to ensure drivers are on track and confirm the successful completion of passenger drop-offs.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate, real-time records of all bookings, driver logs, and passenger inquiries.
• Problem Solving: Address any booking issues, delays, or passenger concerns immediately and professionally as they arise.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Excellent English Communication: A clear, professional, and confident telephone manner is mandatory, as you will be communicating with UK-based customers.
• Geographic Knowledge: A solid understanding of UK geography (or the ability to quickly learn maps and route planning) is essential.
• Operational Proficiency: Experience in dispatching, logistics, or high-volume call center environments is highly preferred.
• Detail-Oriented: Ability to multitask and maintain high accuracy while handling multiple bookings simultaneously.
• Reliability: Ability to strictly adhere to the scheduled working hours (Wed–Mon).

Location: Bahadurabad, Karachi (on-site)
Work hours: Wednesday to Monday (Tuesdays off)
4:00apmto 1:00am (NIGHT SHIFT)

Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs55,000.00 per month
