Teacher on Special Assignment

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards
• Deliver engaging instruction to diverse student populations across various subjects
• Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and classroom participation
• Provide constructive feedback and support to help students improve academically and personally
• Maintain a positive classroom environment conducive to learning and respect
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and school activities
• Participate in professional development sessions and school meetings to enhance teaching skills
• Support students’ social-emotional well-being by fostering inclusivity and respect

Skills

• Proven experience in teaching or educational settings, preferably with university experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
• Ability to create engaging, innovative lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles
• Excellent organizational skills for managing classroom activities and assessments
• Adaptability and flexibility in responding to the evolving needs of students and curriculum changes
• Passion for education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Projected Total Compensation: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
