Job Description – Primary School Teacher (Math & English)

Position Title: Primary School Teacher
Qualification Required: Diploma in Education (D.Ed.) – Specialization in Mathematics and English
Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience at primary school level
Location: Koshimbade Zilla Parishad School, Bhiwandi

Salary: 12k per month
Reports To: Project Coordinator

Role Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary School Teacher with expertise in Math and English to nurture young learners using child-friendly, innovative, and activity-based teaching methods. The ideal candidate should be fluent in English and committed to fostering a positive learning environment that supports holistic development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in Math and English for primary school students.
• Use innovative, child-centered teaching methods such as play-way, storytelling, activity-based learning, and digital tools.
• Assess students’ progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support learning outcomes.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and creativity.
• Develop age-appropriate teaching and learning materials.
• Support children in building strong reading, writing, speaking, and numerical skills.
• Maintain records of students’ performance, attendance, and progress reports.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Educational Qualification: D.Ed. (Diploma in Education) with specialization in Math and English.
• Experience: 1–2 years of classroom teaching experience in a primary school.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in spoken and written English.
• Strong command over Mathematics and English concepts.
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and contribute to the school’s academic and extracurricular activities.
