Our School Services Division provides a range of school support services to students in more than 100 non-public and charter schools throughout the Delaware Valley.
We are currently seeking
Small Group Instruction Teachers
for BOTH
Math and Reading
the
2026-2027 school year
to work in non-public schools throughout Philadelphia providing Act 89 or Title 1 funded support services where you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students’ academic journeys while working in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Full-time,10-month positions available

19120, 19103, 19132 and 19134
Minimum starting salary:
$46,000 (w/Bachelor’s) $49,000 (w/Master’s)

Responsibilities

In addition, as a
Small Group Instruction
Teacher for Reading or Math,
your duties will include:

Instructing small groups of 4-6 students, focusing on helping students achieve grade-level performance in reading and/or math
-
Utilizing diagnostic and remedial strategies to address individual student needs and monitor growth using established objectives

Establishing appropriate groups and scheduling instructional time efficiently

Generating written progress reports as required

Adhering to agency guidelines and requirements concerning caseload management and accountability, and completing all required documentation in an accurate and timely manner

Other duties and projects as assigned or required
Minimum Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university with a certified teaching program
-
Pennsylvania teaching certificate in Elementary Education, Reading Specialist, Math or Special Education
-
Skilled in delivering targeted instruction; Wilson Certification is a plus
-
Teaching or tutoring experience required if not certified
-
Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to establish and maintain positive rapport with students and productive working relationships with parents, teachers and other staff

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
