Classroom Support

• To be able to develop positive working relationships with all members of the school community from children to teaching staff to administrative staff to parents.
• To be able to use initiative, be flexible and have a positive attitude.
• To be able to support children in all aspects of school life and help them to become independent learners.
• Work with groups or individuals to support learning across the curriculum.
• Use school policies and methods to help student
• Record students activities and assist with administrative tasks like preparing resources, setting up the classroom, and creating displays.
• Encourage independence by questioning and supporting personal organization and hygiene.

Pupil Engagement and Supervision

• Build positive relationships with students through meaningful communication, enthusiasm, patience, and respect.
• Supervise students during breaks, school trips, transitions, and specialist lessons.
• Manage behavior positively and act as a role model.

Professional Collaboration and Development

• Work closely with the class teacher to ensure effective communication and lesson preparation.
• Maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Be proactive in seeking support or training for personal development.
• Report concerns about pupils to the class teacher.
• Stay flexible and contribute actively to the school community.
