Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Team Lead to manage and strengthen our Website Development Department. This role requires a technically strong, proactive, and detail-oriented individual who can oversee multiple web development projects across popular CMS platforms, ensure high-quality standards, and drive efficiency through innovation and AI-assisted workflows.

The Team Lead will work closely with project managers, QA teams, and sales to ensure seamless communication, smooth project delivery, and continuous improvement in quality, speed, and team performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and support a team of web developers across multiple CMS and technologies.
• Allocate tasks, monitor progress, and ensure timely project completion.
• Review and approve code to maintain quality and consistency.
• Enforce and continually improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for development and QA processes.
• Participate in the hiring process, conduct technical interviews, and onboard new developers.
• Collaborate with PMs to define realistic timelines and resource plans.

• Act as the primary technical point of contact for the PM, QA, and Sales teams.
• Take a hands-on role in development when required, especially for complex or high-priority projects.
• Work across popular CMS platforms including WordPress, GHL, Webflow, Shopify, Wix, Squarespace, HubSpot, and custom PHP/HTML sites.
• Contribute to front-end development and integrations using CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and frameworks like Next.js.
• Maintain a working understanding of basic DevOps (server management, version control, staging/live deployment).
• Implement best practices in coding, version control, and documentation.
• Communicate with clients in fluent, professional English via email and meetings.
• Present solutions, handle technical queries, and explain project approaches clearly.
• Translate client feedback and requirements into actionable technical plans for the development team.
• Support PMs during client calls where technical clarification is needed.
• Research and adopt modern web development practices, tools, and technologies to improve efficiency.
• Leverage AI tools and automation to speed up development and reduce manual effort.
• Proactively identify bottlenecks and implement strategies to improve delivery speed and code quality.
• Promote knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the team.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in web development, with at least 2 years in a leadership or team lead role.
• Strong technical expertise in PHP, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, WordPress, and familiarity with Webflow, Shopify, Wix, Squarespace, HubSpot CMS, Front-end frameworks like Next.js / React and Basic DevOps, Git, and deployment workflows.
• Excellent understanding of responsive design, browser compatibility, and SEO-friendly development.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve performance, compatibility, and security issues.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

Pay: Rs200,000.00 - Rs250,000.00 per month
