Team leader - Basic Security Guard

Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Team Leader for Basic Security Guard operations to oversee security activities at our facilities. In this vital role, you will lead a team of security personnel, ensuring the safety and protection of people, property, and assets. Responsibilities

• Must have a strong background in incident reporting, including handling incidents and preparing detailed reports.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills, with proven experience in effectively managing and dealing with security guards.
• Possess solid knowledge of access control systems and procedures.
• Ability to educate, train, and mentor security guards to ensure high performance and compliance.
• Prepare and submit consolidated weekly and monthly reports.
• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of security guards to ensure consistent and effective security coverage.
• Lead incident response efforts, including conflict management, emergency procedures, and reporting incidents accurately and promptly.
• Conduct regular patrols and surveillance using CCTV systems and physical inspections to identify potential security risks or breaches.
• Ensure all team members are trained in first aid, CPR, law enforcement procedures, and conflict resolution techniques.
• Write detailed reports on security incidents, observations, and operational activities to maintain comprehensive records.
• Enforce security policies and procedures while fostering a positive team environment through motivation and clear communication.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or emergencies as needed.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• SIRA Security Supervisor certification holders will be given priority.
• Proven experience in security roles, military service, law enforcement, or related fields demonstrating strong discipline and situational awareness.
• Valid UAE Driving License (Manual) Preferred.
• Good physical fitness and presentable appearance.
• 2–3 years of experience as a Security Team Leader in a Dubai-based security company
• Certification in first aid, CPR, and conflict management is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of surveillance systems, report writing, and emergency response protocols.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively under pressure.
• Strong communication skills for clear reporting and coordination with team members and external agencies.
