Job Purpose
Responsible for planning, organizing and controlling the daily operations of the warehouse and ensuring compliance with safety regulations while optimizing productivity and quality standards.
What You Will Do In Your Role
Day to Day Operations

Implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards

Resolving problems and identifying warehouse system improvements
-
Developing and improving storage processes.

Providing annual budget information; monitoring expenditures; identifying variances and implementing corrective actions

Creating daily work logs for the employees
-
Following up & controlling daily absence and overtime.

Supporting in forecasting yearly budget.

Controlling the warehouse incoming raw materials, packaging materials and finish goods.

Maintaining the Implementation of the FIFO ‘first in first out’ concept.

Ensuring the warehouses layout & space management.

Ensuring that workplace health and safety requirements are met.

Increasing the quality of loading, discharging, and transportation.

Monitoring the warehouse incoming and out coming stock.

Ensure implementation of best practices materials handling in Factories.

Making plans to develop and improve team performance
-
Collaborate with other departments such as procurement, logistics and customer service to ensure smooth operations.
Manage inventory management through regular cycle counts and audits.
What You Will Bring To The Role
Academic and professional qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration or any relevant field.
Experience
-
Minimum of 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in a supervisory role within logistics or warehousing settings.

Strong leadership abilities.
-
Knowledge of inventory management best practices.

Familiarity with health and safety regulations.

Excellent numerical and analytical skills
