TEB Arval Asset Valuation & Pricing Analyst

We are looking for an Asset Valuation & Pricing Analyst with strong analytical skills and a solid background in financial modeling, data analysis, and pricing methodologies. The role will be reporting to Asset Valuation & Pricing Team Leader, and will communicate often with internal departments (Sales, Financial Controlling, Risk) and Arval Corporate Center.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain and improve statistical models for asset valuation and pricing.
• Build, implement and analyze internal and external reports & indicators related to Asset Valuation & Pricing following Arval Corporate models and methodologies
• Manage and update pricing tools, databases and methodologies.
• Carry out studies on pricing of products and services by making cost analysis and profitability calculations.
• Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and customer data to determine optimal pricing strategies for products or services.
• Manage and update new car and services data within operating system within the SLAs defined between Finance & Sales organization, with high level of quality.
• Participation to the Asset Valuation & Pricing Committees according to governance rules and to take active roles in preparation process.
• Collect and analyze reliable information and data regarding the automotive market (and in particular used-car market and services costs)
• Contribution to build internal databases and develop models to connect internal databases with external sources.
• Ensure all kind of 1st Level and 2nd Level of Controls are properly done within the fields of assignment.
• Ensure the existence, deployment and monitoring of a robust and efficient Asset Valuation & Asset Risk environment according to the BNP Paribas and ARVAL Groups, to mitigate Asset & Pricing risks.

Requirements:

• A passionate professional graduated from Engineering, Statistics, Economics, or Business Administration departments. (Master’s degree is an advantage).
• Fluent in English both verbal and written; able to cooperate with different entities/nations. (French is a plus.)
• Advanced skills and knowledge of MS Office, with a strong expertise in Excel. Expertise on SAS, Phyton, R, SQL and Tableau is a very big plus.
• Experience in financial modeling, data analysis, and decision-support tools.
• Strong analytical mindset with problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Logical thinker with ability to interpret long term impact
• Ability for multi-tasking and work under pressure of deadlines & challenges
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
