Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled Analytics and Data Science professional who can bridge the gap between Business Intelligence (BI) tools and advanced Data Science techniques. The ideal candidate will bring deep hands-on expertise in Power BI, Tableau, NLP, and predictive modeling with a proven track record of delivering impactful analytics solutions to business stakeholders. This role requires someone who can work end-to-end – from data wrangling and visualization to building machine learning models and deploying them into business workflows. Roles & Responsibilities: - Analytics & Business Intelligence - Develop, enhance, and maintain advanced dashboards in Power BI with strong DAX, calculated fields, and complex data modeling. - Build self-service BI solutions and ensure scalable and performant dashboards for senior management. - Design effective data storytelling to communicate trends, anomalies, and insights clearly. - Optimize BI solutions for large datasets and ensure best practices in data modeling and governance. - Data Science & Machine Learning - Develop end-to-end predictive models (regression, classification, clustering, forecasting) to support decision-making. - Apply Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques such as topic modeling, entity extraction, sentiment analysis, and transformer-based models (BERT, GPT, etc.). - Perform feature engineering, model training, validation, and performance tuning for large-scale datasets. - Translate business problems into machine learning solutions, ensuring interpretability and business adoption. - Collaborate with data engineers for model deployment, monitoring, and retraining pipelines. - Data Management & ETL - Work with SQL and scripting (Python/R) for data extraction, cleaning, and transformation. - Basic Knowledge of ETL pipelines for integrating structured and unstructured data sources. - Ensure data quality, consistency, and security across multiple platforms. - Collaboration & Leadership - Partner with stakeholders across business units (Finance, Sales, HR, Operations) to define requirements and deliver insights. - Act as a bridge between BI teams and Data Science teams, ensuring end-to-end delivery. - Mentor and guide junior analysts in BI and data science best practices. - Present insights and models to executive leadership with clear, actionable recommendations. Professional & Technical Skills: - 5+ years of experience in Power Toolkit(Power BI, Power Apps & Power Automate) & Tableau, with expertise in: - Advanced DAX queries, Power Query (M language), Row-level Security (RLS) - Complex measures, drill-through, dynamic filtering, parameterization - Performance tuning of BI dashboards - 5+ years of experience in data analytics and modeling using Python/R (pandas, scikit-learn, statsmodels, matplotlib, seaborn, etc.). - At least 3+ years hands-on experience in NLP solutions, including: - Text preprocessing, vectorization (TF-IDF, word embeddings, transformers) - Sentiment analysis, classification, topic modeling, entity recognition - Experience in predictive analytics: - Time-series forecasting (ARIMA, Prophet, LSTM, etc.) - Customer churn prediction, sales forecasting, risk modeling - Proficiency in SQL (window functions, CTEs, query optimization). - Exposure to cloud-based analytics platforms (Azure ML, AWS SageMaker, or GCP Vertex AI). Additional Information: - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field - Experience with big data platforms (Databricks, Spark, Hadoop ecosystem). - Knowledge of data pipelines & orchestration tools (Airflow, Azure Data Factory, etc.). - Certifications in Power BI/Tableau, Data Science, or Cloud Platforms. - Experience in generative AI (LLMs, embeddings, prompt engineering) is a plus - Good communications and analytical skill. - Idea on ITIL/ or ITIL certified. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - 5–8 years of total experience. - A 15 years full time education is required.
