Role Overview:

Plutus21 is seeking a Tech Support Intern to support our internal teams by providing first-level technical assistance and troubleshooting support. This role is ideal for 3rd or 4th year university students who are interested in IT support, systems, and enterprise technology environments.

Youll gain hands-on experience working with real users, real systems, and real-world technical issues, while learning professional IT support practices in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and system-related issues
• Assist employees with troubleshooting desktops, laptops, printers, and basic network issues

• Support common software tools (email, collaboration tools, operating systems)

• Log, track, and resolve support tickets in a timely manner

• Escalate complex issues to senior IT team members when required

• Assist with system setups, user access, and onboarding support

• Help maintain basic IT documentation, FAQs, and user guides

• Support routine IT maintenance and inventory management

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in 3rd or 4th year of a Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related degree

• Basic understanding of:

  • Windows and/or macOS operating systems

  • Common software applications (MS Office, email clients, browsers)

  • Basic networking concepts (LAN, Wi-Fi, IP basics)

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

• Good communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly

• Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
