Technical Architect (Adobe Experience Manager)

About Role

You will be leading team focusing on development and management of web sites and applications using Adobe Experience manager. You will be performing technical leadership as well as play key role in Qatar Airways cloud transformation and innovation initiatives.

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide architectural blueprints Diagram and technical leadership to the Development team on Adobe experience manager Sites platform
• Create high-level AEM solution specifications with attention to system integration and feasibility
• Work closely with developers and business product owners to ensure an effective and intuitive implementation
• Ensure Adobe experience manager best practices are followed and no technical debt gets introduced during the project
• Mentor and adapt innovations across different development teams using Adobe Experience cloud manager

About you

• High School Qualification / Vocational Qualification /Diploma or Equivalent (Type of Diploma Based on Role) OR Bachelor's degree with overall experience of about 10-12 years in architecting and developing Ecommerce / Digital solutions for highly scalable, highly available systems.
• Expert in Enterprise Content Management especially on Adobe product
• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience as an Architect on AEM
• Create cross platform architectures across Adobe Experience Cloud (Adobe Experience manager, Target and Analytics)
• Translate business requirements using methods/models to determine appropriate WCM solutions. Design and implement headless, hybrid and design patterns as per business requirements
• Deep understanding of all Adobe Experience manager building blocks including templates, components, touch UI dialogs, content fragments, experience fragments, CUGs etc. and Adobe Experience manager development
• Deep understanding of Sightly (HTL), Sling Models, Queries, OSGi services and components.
• Experience on Adobe Experience manager Sites deployment, Dispatcher Configuration, and SSO integrations.
• Experience with Adobe Experience manager as a cloudservice, Configurations within Adobe Experience manager cloud service, setting up dispatcher, CI/CD Pipeline, EDS within Adobe Experience manager
• Experience with core web technologies Java, HTML5, CSS3 and attendant technologies and data exchange protocols like JSON and XML, XHTML, Client Server-Side.
• Experience in scripting languages such as JavaScript, JSP and web services development using RESTful and SOAP-based web services.
• Experience in frontend JavaScript frameworks such as Angular.
• Experience in Java unit testing using Mockito, Junit etc.
• Should be able to help in Product owners by providing solution architecture, assumptions, and estimations of business requirements for their features
• Should be able to design and implement external integrations (API, DB etc) with Adobe Experience Manager solutions.
• Understanding of security, risk, and compliance management processes in the context of IT solutions delivery
• Experience with REST, Web Services, Web application frameworks, webservers
• Knowledge on source control management (GIT, SVN etc.)
• Experience with Cache, monitoring, infrastructure setup, capacity, performance, load testing, documentation, debugging, best practices etc.
• Should have an understanding on SEO and Accessibility
• Hands-on experience in identifying technology opportunities, developing and delivering solutions using modern Agile methodologies.
