We are looking for a Technical Assistant with experience in chemical distribution or manufacturing to support technical operations, product application, and customer engagement. This role will work closely with sales teams, customers, and suppliers to ensure the correct selection, application, and compliance of chemical products across multiple industries.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Support

• Provide technical guidance on chemical products and applications to customers and internal sales teams
• Evaluate customer requirements and recommend suitable chemical solutions
• Assist in product trials, testing, and troubleshooting

Product Knowledge & Applications

• Maintain strong knowledge of chemical formulations, properties, and industrial applications
• Support industries such as Construction Chemicals, Coatings, Home Care, Personal Care, and Oil & Gas
• Prepare technical documentation including product datasheets and application guidelines

Customer Engagement

• Participate in technical meetings with customers to explain product performance and benefits
• Provide after-sales technical support and resolve product-related issues
• Conduct product demonstrations and technical training sessions

Regulatory & Safety Compliance

• Ensure compliance with chemical safety regulations and SDS/MSDS standards
• Monitor international chemical regulations such as REACH and GHS
• Promote safe handling, storage, and disposal of chemicals

Supplier & Sales Coordination

• Coordinate with suppliers for product specifications and technical updates
• Review COA, test reports, and technical documentation
• Support sales teams in technical presentations and product positioning

Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare technical reports, product evaluations, and customer feedback reports
• Maintain records of product trials, performance, and technical inquiries

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field
• 2–5 years of experience in chemical distribution, manufacturing, or technical sales
• Knowledge of industrial chemicals and their applications
• Familiarity with chemical safety standards and regulatory compliance
