Technical Business Analyst

The Technical Business Analyst is responsible for implementation, maintenance, and/or coordination activities across simultaneous projects which contribute to the success of external clients and NJII projects/services. The technical business analyst manages data submissions ensuring the integrity of the data quality and will provide training and full support to external clients and team members. The associate is tasked with planning, coordinating, implementing, and managing the integration of related data into new or existing software applications. The associate helps to gather information to evaluate and/or report on business requirements and processes. They will provide data analysis to support, compile, and report key information for operations/business development objectives related to health care delivery, payment reform, and/or quality improvement.

Person Reports To - Client Engagement Technical Supervisor

Essential Functions –

· Assist in the technical documentation of Implementation Guides for the projects assigned.

· Identifies key business needs/issues while documenting requirements of execution.

· Project Team collaboration - leads members of external team in a state of readiness and cooperation.

· Proactively develops knowledge, identifies needs, issues, and solutions.

· Receives, creates, and/or finalizes professional documents for review by manager.

· Lead data analysis and generation of reports to identify actionable insights for internal or external customers.

· Coordinate leadership buy-in and lead the implementation of business process improvement recommendations.

· Recommend and implement industry best practices for data management.

· Can articulate awareness of quality & compliance issues.

· Consistently improves processes, products, and policies.

· Perform additional duties as assigned by Leadership, including assisting in system specifications development and evaluation.

Prerequisite Qualifications –

Job Requirements

· Bachelors in technology, Business Administration, Finance, Health Administration, or related field
· At least 5 years relevant experience
· Demonstrated knowledge/experience in healthcare operations.
· Excellent analytical skills
· Can articulate awareness of quality & compliance issues.
· Demonstrated clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
· Experience gathering requirements form the client/business and providing clear documentation.
· Experience with project methodology (requirements, design, development, test, and implementation).
· Familiarity with business process design and ability to aid the high-level business process design efforts.
· Demonstrated strong focus on execution and delivery with ability to make recommendations and mitigate timeline risks.

Salary Information -

In compliance with the NJ Pay Transparency law, the annual salary range for this position is $85,000- $100,000 (USD). NJII considers factors like, but not limited to, job scope, experience, education, skills, internal equity, and market conditions when making offers. This pay range covers base pay only and excludes bonuses or other incentives.
