What You’ll Do

Lead requirements gathering efforts for mission-critical technical programs supporting government customers.

Translate complex operational needs into structured user stories, functional requirements, and measurable acceptance criteria.

Serve as a primary liaison between customers and Torch.AI engineering teams to ensure alignment on scope, priorities, and delivery expectations.

Facilitate working sessions with mission stakeholders to validate workflows, refine requirements, and clarify operational constraints.

Develop and maintain workflow documentation, process maps, system context diagrams, and mission use case artifacts.

Own backlog refinement activities, ensuring requirements are prioritized, actionable, and technically feasible.

Support sprint planning and release readiness by identifying dependencies, risks, and scope changes.

Validate delivered capabilities against customer expectations and defined success metrics.

Identify gaps, ambiguities, or evolving requirements and proactively drive clarification.

Contribute to continuous improvement of requirements processes and documentation standards.
Core Skills & Qualifications

B.S. in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

3–6 years of experience in business analysis, technical program support, or requirements management.

Demonstrated experience translating ambiguous mission or operational needs into structured technical documentation.

Strong experience writing detailed user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria.

Experience working directly with customers in structured, compliance-driven environments.

Familiarity with Agile processes and tools such as Jira and Confluence.

Strong organizational skills with ability to manage competing priorities across multiple workstreams.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Additional Valuable Experience

Experience supporting DoD, Intelligence Community, or other regulated government environments.

Familiarity with data platforms, APIs, cloud environments, or AI-enabled systems.

Experience supporting cross-functional teams including engineering, DevOps, and cybersecurity.

Experience defining success metrics, validation criteria, and operational readiness measures.
-
Exposure to accreditation, compliance, or secure deployment workflows.
