Technical Consultant – ISO/IEC 17020 Accreditation

Role Purpose:

To oversee and ensure the technical competence, integrity, and compliance of BGMC’s inspection activities in line with ISO/IEC 17020 requirements, and to provide full technical support in achieving accreditation with PNAC.

On behalf of BGMC Asst. Manager Technical will lead the project and consultant will provide 100% backend support for successful completion of PNAC audit.

Key Responsibilities:Accreditation & Compliance

· Lead the implementation and improvement of ISO/IEC 17020 management system by reviewing present documentation developed.

· Ensure all inspection activities meet PNAC and international accreditation requirements.

· Develop, review, and approve technical procedures, work instructions, and inspection methodologies developed by Asst. Technical Manager and guide him through zoom meetings in order to meet 100% compliance.

· Will ensure that BGMC achieve its accreditation target with PNAC within defined timelines.

· Will be available at all times through main point of contact for guidance.

· Finalization of Organizational Structure, Lifting Equipment Procedures, Checklists and Reports template as per PNAC accreditation ISO 17020 requirements.

· Clarity and guidance related to present structure developed by Asst. Technical Manager.

· Provide trainings to Asst. Manager Technical to upgrade him as Manager in future.

Technical Leadership

· Provide technical guidance to inspection staff and assessors through .

· Ensure proper calibration, verification, and maintenance of inspection equipment and advise necessary purchase.

· Oversee technical training programs to build competence within the inspection body.

Quality Assurance

· Support the Internal Auditor in conducting internal audits by developing checklists which meet accreditation criteria and management reviews.

· Monitor and resolve nonconformities, corrective actions, and preventive measures.

· Develop checklists to maintain technical records and ensure traceability of inspection results.

Operational Oversight

· Approve inspection reports and certificates prior to release.

· Ensure impartiality, confidentiality, and independence of inspection activities and cover all necessary requirements as per PNAC.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Rs70,000.00 per month
