This is a full-time on-site Technical Content Writer role located in Lahore. The Technical Content Writer will be responsible for creating high-quality, SEO-optimized technical content across multiple channels, including blogs, website copy, emails, and social media for our company.
Responsibilities
Content Creation:
- Write and edit technically and grammatically accurate, engaging content for various marketing channels, including website copy, blog posts, technical documentation, case studies, white papers, and knowledge base articles
- Develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent and timely content delivery
- Research industry topics, technical concepts, and product information to produce informative content
- Update underperforming blog posts regularly to improve their search rankings and engagement metrics
Script Writing:
- Develop clear, concise scripts for promotional videos and tours
- Write video scripts that align with brand voice
- Collaborate with video production team to refine scripts and ensure feasibility
SEO & Analytics:
- Conduct keyword research and implement SEO best practices in all content
- Monitor content performance using tools such as Semrush, Google Analytics, and Search Console
- Track keyword rankings and identify opportunities for content optimization
- Analyze blog performance and implement data-driven improvements
- Stay current with SEO trends and algorithm updates
Email Marketing:
- Write compelling email copy for newsletters and promotional campaigns
- Create targeted email sequences for different customer segments and buyer journeys
- Optimize view and open rate using different techniques and track and analyze email performance metrics to improve future campaigns
Copywriting:
- Create persuasive and technically sound copy for marketing materials, including website landing pages, product descriptions, and email campaigns
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure copy and visuals are aligned
Collaboration:
- Work closely with technical teams to ensure content accuracy
- Coordinate with marketing team members to maintain consistent messaging
- Participate in content planning sessions and contribute creative ideas
- Incorporate feedback from stakeholders to improve content quality
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from a reputable institution in English, Technical Communication, Journalism, Marketing, or related field
- 2-3 years of technical writing experience
- Excellent grammar and language skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Proficiency in English (both written and verbal)
- Portfolio demonstrating technical writing samples across different formats
- Knowledge of SEO principles and content optimization techniques
- Experience with keyword research and implementing SEO strategies
- Familiarity with content analytics and SEO tools (Semrush, Google Analytics, Search Console)
- Ability to use AI writing tools effectively
Preferred Qualifications
· Knowledge of content management systems
- Understanding of social media best practices
- Basic WordPress skills
- Experience with email marketing platforms
