Technical Coordinator

Role Overview

We are seeking a talented Technical Coordinator. The Technical Coordinator will act as the key link between engineering, Tekla detailing, fabrication, and erection teams. The role ensures that all drawings, material lists, and fabrication documents are correctly reviewed, coordinated, and released to production and site in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate between Tekla Detailers, Workshop, and Site teams to ensure alignment of drawings and production requirements.
• Review shop drawings, GA drawings, and material lists before release to workshop/site.
• Track IFC drawings, revisions, and RFIs; ensure latest revisions are implemented.
• Prepare and maintain drawing registers, revision logs, and transmittals.
• Liaise with procurement and stores to verify material requirements and availability.
• Provide technical clarification to workshop supervisors and erection team.
• Support project team with method statements, as-built drawings, and QA/QC documentation.
• Monitor and report on technical progress, issues, and drawing/document status to management.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering.
• 3 years’ experience in steel fabrication and erection projects.
• Strong understanding of steel detailing, fabrication processes, and site erection methods.
• Familiarity with Tekla Structures, AutoCAD, and shop drawing workflows.
• Knowledge of Dubai Municipality steel codes and fabrication standards.
• Excellent coordination, communication, and documentation skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
