Technical Design Manager | Interior Design

POSITION

StreetLights Residential is seeking a candidate to own our interior drawing standards. This is inclusive of constructability details, Revit standards, drawing production, and QAQC of all Interior Design drawing deliverables.

RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Coach designers on constructability details.
    • Collaborate with designers, architects, and outside consultants throughout the design and documentation of multifamily and mixed-use projects.
    • Develop and document interior architectural drawings adhering to drafting principles, detailing, building materials, and codes. Adhere to drawing standards established by SLR.
    • Assist in the production of project deliverables and coordinate with the appropriate departments and consultants to ensure compliance in quality, design, and applicable building codes.
    • Ensure GC has all necessary information to price and build all aspects of interior scope.
    • Collaborate with designers to review technical shop drawings in CA.
    • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture
    • NCIDQ/RID preferred
    • 5+ years’ experience as a member of a design team for multifamily, mixed-use or hospitality projects
    • Experienced in interior design construction drawings, specifications, calculations, and industry standards
    • A team player who possesses a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a high level of professionalism.
    • Possesses strong communication and organizational skills.
    • Proficiency in Revit
