Technical Director

Position Summary:

Kinetics Group is looking for a Technical Director / Head of Sustainability to lead and grow our sustainability and energy advisory firm. The role reports to the CEO and provides technical leadership in sustainable energy systems, building performance, and ESG alignment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead sustainability strategies, energy modeling, and green building certifications (LEED, Estidama, Net Zero).
• Ensure projects meet UAE/KSA regulations and international sustainability standards.
• Review reports, develop technical methodologies, and standardize advisory services.
• Engage with clients, consultants, and stakeholders on sustainable design solutions.
• Mentor and guide junior team members in energy performance and sustainability analysis.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Energy Engineering, Sustainability, Environmental Engineering, or Architecture.
• 8–12 years in sustainable energy consulting or green building advisory.
• Proficiency in energy modeling software (IES VE, EnergyPlus, DesignBuilder) and sustainability tools.
• Experience with energy-efficient HVAC, renewable integration, and sustainable construction materials.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to project sites.
• Preferred: Professional accreditation in sustainability or energy systems.
