Technical Draftsman- Furniture

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Technical Draftsman with expertise in furniture (home & office) design. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of drafting software, furniture materials, joinery details, and production drawings to ensure accurate execution of customized furniture designs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed technical drawings for furniture (home, office, and custom projects).
• Convert design concepts into production-ready shop drawings.
• Work closely with architects, interior designers, and production teams.
• Ensure accurate joinery details, dimensions, material specifications, and finishes.
• Modify and revise drawings as per client/production feedback.
• Maintain drawing records and ensure timely delivery of all drafting work.
• Provide technical support during the manufacturing and installation process.
• Ensure drawings comply with quality, safety, and industry standards.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Bachelor’s in Architecture, Interior Design, or Drafting Technology.
• 5+ years of experience as a draftsman in furniture (home & office) industry.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, or related drafting software.
• Strong understanding of furniture design, joinery, hardware, and materials.
• Ability to work under deadlines and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
