Technical Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically competent Technical Engineer to support joinery project execution under Qatar HR Management . The role involves coordinating technical aspects of joinery works, ensuring accurate drawings, material specifications, and smooth project delivery from design through installation.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in joinery projects, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to collaborate effectively with design, production, and site teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed shop drawings for joinery items (cabinetry, doors, wardrobes, wall panels, etc.).
• Interpret architectural and interior design drawings into production-ready technical drawings .
• Coordinate with design, production, and site teams to ensure proper execution.
• Review project specifications and ensure compliance with client requirements and standards .
• Assist in material selection and finishes related to joinery works.
• Conduct site visits when required to verify measurements and installation details.
• Revise drawings based on engineer/client feedback .
• Ensure all drawings follow industry standards and company guidelines .
• Support cost estimation teams by providing accurate material take-offs .

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and Interior Design
• 0–3 years of experience in joinery or interior fit-out projects .
• Strong knowledge of joinery detailing and materials .

Proficiency in:

• AutoCAD (essential)
• SketchUp / Revit (preferred)
• Microsoft Office

Understanding technical drawing standards and construction methods .

Good communication and coordination skills.

• Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple tasks.
